I disagree... sure you are paying a cheaper rate but is a family member worth it??

I know my vet in Canada has lightened the bill a few times. I had a boxer with bad skin condition, and the vet gave his asst. instructions that we never had to make an appt. just bring in our dog. we had bills in excess of 300 dollars about every 5-6 weeks. Our Canadian vet stopped charging us for skin scrapping because he wanted to find out what it is. our dog got so grumpy and cranky that he snapped at my wife and with our young kids the choice was made.... we just couldn't fight the battle any longer and I did not have to pay anything to send him to "the farm" I am glad Potter got the help he needed and hope he is on the patient list of Dr. Palmer!
