The orioginal coat of arms (symbol) was introduced when Sault Ste. Marie was incorporated as a city in 1912. It has served us well for 100 years now!! Why change something that isn't broke? We are celebrating 100 years of incorporation this year and this coat of arms should be registered this year as part of the celebration.
