Speed7, first of all my attack was not on teachers or the poor if you can read so WTF are you so mouthy for?

My comment was directed at accountability and why freeze wages, cut programs and make us as parents pay more for trips, supplies and such.

As for the wage issue that seems to have your panties in a knot, I do know that earning under $50k is poverty. So why is minimum wage so low? I am a single parent and not even hitting $27k..and that's gross too. Who said anything I was the only person paying taxes....if that was the case no wonder the country is so FN in trouble based on my wages. Everyone pays way too much tax as far as I'm concerned. But taxes so support the way of life in Canada but we need accountability of how it's being managed.

And yes, not just myself but other parents who are single and have children in school make a lot less than $30000 and yes they do fine. More so by necessity but they make ends meet and don't gripe about it. Would they want more? Do I want more? sure. But I don't complain about it and we don't have a choice. Of course I don't like when government makes us poorer. They seem to use our tax dollar as they wish first, then what's left they try to balance a budget. Why doesn't the government try to make ends meet with what's left after making our country more economically secure.

I never said anything about driving jobs away. Are you a teacher by chance? I would be saddened if you are when you read so much into my comment that wasn't even there.

And what was my comment about? I was saying we need accountability for the money. Not just for the school system but everywhere. Our government needs to start being accountable for everything it spends from our tax dollar and only then they should be able to say we need cuts and freezes. But read....I SAID THEY HAVE TO BE ACCOUNTABLE. Quit using your tactics to badmouth me and aim it toward the issue of the article sheeeesh.
