Nimby, yes he most definately was as a leader of NOTO, call and try to book a cabin from him with the idea of driving to the narrows and using your own boat. I tried and he told me that unless I flew in or took the train he wouldn't rent me a cabin.
I understand there is or was a sign on the Missanaibi end of the road that crosses Wobatonguishi (where he is)and goes to Dubreuilville, it read "Use of this road to access Wobatonguishi is prohibited", even though the lake is publicly owned and the road publicly funded.
Granted, it's the MNR which has admitted some of their staff have been allowed to obtain public lands under the table for private use including outfitting.
