its not getting tougher on criminals , its making life impossible for those of us who have had a minor mishap "a summary conviction" in the past and have been a good citizen since , and with a record its near impossible to get a job. i was very excited to get my life on the right track by going for my pardon this october , but apparently ..another two years of waiting is what i need according to the government. thanks.
