Dear Johnny Reid;

We at SooToday.com, along with the 4,000 fans that attended your show last evening at the Essar Centre in Sault Ste. Marie, were more than impressed with your charisma, stamina and showmanship.

That fact the you love performing is obvious, and your devotion to your fans is refreshing.

Especially heartwarming was the moment when you invited the wee birthday boy on stage.

And then another child.

And another.

And another.

And then you sang happy birthday to the lad, making an already incredible experience truly unforgettable.

Just watching you run through the audience, not missing a beat for almost two full songs as you leapt over stands, shook hands and sang to fans, brought a massive smile to our face.

We admittedly got a tad jealous when you took the hand of one particular female fan and danced with her at the side of the stage.

And we were dumbfounded when you mysteriously popped up on a tiny stage under a giant disco ball at the back of the arena to perform Right Where I Belong and Dance With Me.

The pyrotechnics during Fire It Up were a welcome surprise, as was the vast number of autographs you signed throughout your performance.

Yes, it was a stellar performance full of little gems and awesome moments for everyone involved.

Also, your horn section kicks some serious butt.

However, we at SooToday.com have one tiny request.

If you could somehow manage to squeeze all this awesomeness into the first three songs, we would really appreciate it.

That way, the media photographers that work tirelessly to capture the true essence of your live performance can share it with the rest of the world.

Thanks so much for your consideration in this matter, and we look forward to a whirlwind, three-song show next time you're through the Sault.

You promised to come back.

We never forget.

Respectfully yours,

A photographer that missed 99 percent of your best photo ops.
