Cockpit fire leads to emergency landing

OTTAWA - A plane carrying 170 people has made an emergency landing at Ottawa's airport after reporting a fire in the cockpit.
The Ottawa Fire department says the plane landed safely and airport firefighters dealt with the emergency.
Firefighters say the smoke cleared from the cockpit just before 7 a.m..
Emergency crews were checking the brakes on the plane.
No injuries were reported.
