A punk and heavy-metal show this weekend at Club Princess is one of many events described in the latest weekend forecast prepared by SooToday.com Arts and Entertainment Editor-Person Chris Belsito.

Organized by Alison Walton of Tiny Bubbles with proceeds going to the Superior Skatepark Association, the event will feature The Crossed, Fuller, Fitswitch, SLU, Gates of Winter and The Hangdowns.

It happens on Saturday starting at 9:30 p.m.

All ages.

Tickets $10.

Also this weekend, the Mountain Ash Inn in Heyden is having a fifth anniversary celebration, the Outback is hosting a Celtic Night with a pipe and drum band, and Algoma International Films is presenting Vera Drake at Galaxy Cinema.

And poser-punk Chris Belsito is playing Loplops along with the decidely non-punky Craig West and Jamie Case.
