Vintage rockers Batteries Not Included gave a free Sunday-afternoon concert at the Harry R. Pearse Memorial Bandshell in Bellevue Park.
The band, covering the heavy metal/rock spectrum from Metallica to AC/DC to Ozzy, consists of (l. to r.) Keith Gagnon, Ian Connell, Ryan Gray and T.J. Case.
Keith Gagnon's last 15 minutes of SooToday.com fame was one year ago, when Greig Nori invited him onto the stage to jam during a Treble Charger concert at the Roberta Bondar tent pavilion.
Ian Connell is a brother to Hilary Connell, who served a co-op education placement at SooToday.com last year and appeared in this weekend's Sault Theatre Workshop/Stage 1 production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Batteries Not Included will next play August 7 at Laird Raceway.
Tuesday night, the Chris Belsito Band will give a free concert at the Roberta Bondar tent pavilion, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
