After losing to David Orazietti in the recent provincial election, three-term MPP Tony Martin isn't about to roll over and play dead.

SooToday.com has learned that Martin will seek the NDP's nod to run in the next federal election.

Martin will announce his bid at 9 a.m. Friday in front of the Sault Ste. Marie Court House.

Last November, SooToday.com readers voted Martin as the "recently retired politician I'd most like to see make a comeback."

Tony Martin - 133 votes (48.36%) Brady Irwin - 80 votes (29.09%) Peter Vaudry - 34 votes (12.36%) Duane Jones - 28 votes (10.18%)
