On June 3, you'll be saying 'I feel good!'

James Brown has been around so long in R&B circles that he remembers when Little Richard found God and quit playing The Devil's Music.

James Brown has been around so long in R&B circles that he remembers when Little Richard found God and quit playing The Devil's Music.

Heck, it was Brown who agreed to honour Little Richard's broken 1957 tour dates and recruited several members of his back-up band.

On November 1 of next year, Brown will celebrate the 50th anniversary of his first record release.

With 94 entries on Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart and 114 entries on the R&B singles charts, the Rock and Roll Hall-of-Famer is now planning a visit to Sault Ste. Marie.

Kewadin Casinos advises SooToday.com that it's just booked Brown for a 7 p.m. show on Thursday, June 3.

Tickets will cost $48.50 and will be available starting April 6.

Brown was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at the first induction dinner, held January 23, 1986 in New York City.

One of his more memorable performances was a cameo appearance in 1980 as Rev. Cleophus in the classic commedy/musical The Blues Brothers, in which he helped send John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd on their "mission from God."

Thank you so much for the recent updates on what is coming to Kewadin. It is virtually impossible to find what is coming to this area on the Internet. And since there is so little that actually comes up North, it is refreshing that someone is taking the time to let us know ahead of time.
