NORDIK SKI CLUB

Soo Finnnish is excited to announce The Biathlon Bears Program to our Club

Biathlon Bears is an entry level Biathlon developement skills program for boys and girls ages 8 to 14.

Participants will learn the parts and safety requirements of the air rifle, safety requirements of the shooting range, how to shoot and the format for racing.

Fun and learning will be incorporated into the lessons to develop the athletes shooting skills.

Participants will also have the opportunity to compete at a local events in the Algoma area.

Air rifles and shooting skills are provided by the Biathlon Bears Program.

Skiing skills will be obtained by the Jackrabbit or Track Attack ski program.

Both programs are part of the Soo Finnish Nordic Ski Club.

The participant will be required to commit to a miniumum of two days a week and must be registered in both programs.

In addition the members must also be a member of Biathlon Ontario/Canada.

Soo Finnish will be having there first Biathlon Demo Day November 26 at the Soo Finnish Nordic Ski Club.
