60 Minutes commentator Andy Rooney has died at the age of 92.

U.S. media is reporting that he died in a New York hospital as a result of complications from minor surgery.

Four-time Emmy Award winner, Rooney, passed away about a month after announcing his retirement from and shooting his last edition of 60 Minutes.
