In an article published in MacLean's magazine's 2011 Guide to Canadian Universities, Algoma University was mentioned along side the likes of the University of British Columbia, York University, Simon Fraser University and Dalhousie University.

That's some mighty fine company.

The piece, written by Alex Ballingall, focuses on programs offered that appeal to today's students searching for their dream career.

Algoma U's four-year computer games technology program is highlighted as a 'standout' option.
