Tonight, the little guy in London, Ontario who gets startled each time his mom blows her nose is world-famous.

His video is quickly going viral, with prominent placement on major websites including RyanSeacrest.com, CBS News, CollgeHumour.com and CheezBurger's popular Daily What.

As of 8 p.m. tonight, almost 80,000 people have viewed the video, with more than 15,000 people posting it on their Facebook pages.

It's currently the #1 most-favourited YouTube comedy video in the country, and the #2 most-favourited YouTube video from all genres in Canada.

This evening, Emerson's mom Karen weighed invitations to appear on both NBC's Today Show and ABC's Good Morning America.

Good Morning America even offered to pick up all costs for an expedited passport application to get Emerson to its Manhattan studios later this week.

But Karen advises us tonight that she's decided to turn down both offers. "It's all happening too fast for us," she says.

Meanwhile, Emerson's popularity has shifted this evening across the Atlantic, with England's Daily Mail publishing no fewer than six screen-captures of "the agony and the ecstasy."
