Yesterday, during the opening night of Kewadin Casino's 25th Anniversary Music Festival, 80s hair-metal fans were treated to performances from two of the biggest frontmen of the decade - Motley Crue's Vince Neil and Poison's Bret Michaels.

Since we're having a difficult time determining which performance we liked more, we decided to rate each based on various pros and cons.

Vince Neil earns a cool 20 points for playing Kickstart My Heart, Wild Side, Girls Girls Girls, and SooToday.com's favourite Motley Crue tune, Dr. Feelgood.

Unfortunately, we have to remove five points for playing it second, forcing our photographer to abandon her picture-taking duties for about 30 seconds so she could rock out, likely missing some prime photo ops.

Bret Michaels is awarded 20 points for playing Poison classics Unskinny Bop, Fallen Angel, Nothin' But a Good Time, and Every Rose Has Its Thorn.

Plus he gets five bonus points for covering Sublime's What I Got.

However, we have to award Vince 30 points for enlisting Zoltan Chaney, by far the most entertaining drummer we've ever had the pleasure of witnessing live.

Don't worry, Bret - you get 15 points for having a drummer with a bright purple mohawk.

Vince, we're going to give you 20 points for launching your own brand of tequila, Tres Rios, and for writing a tune about it, Tattoos and Tequila which we enjoyed very much.

But, for leaving the stage last night for a good 20 minutes, forcing your band to play cover songs, we're removing 10 points.

Bret, we'd be remiss if we didn't grant you huge points for both surviving a brain hemorrhage earlier this year, as well as the discovery of a hole in your heart.

These health setbacks apparently had absolutely zero effect on your rockin' performance last evening.

For this, we'll give you 30 points.

We're also going to give you five marks for having bras thrown at you during your performance, Bret.

Regrettably, you chose to wear a shirt bearing your own image, for which we have to take those five points right back.

Finally, for opening your show with Samuel L. Jackson's iconic "Ezekiel 25:17" speech from Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction, one of our favourite movies of all time, we give you 15 points, Vince.

Once tallied, this leaves the duo tied at 70 points each.

Turns out the two are a match made in heaven after all.
