Unidentified flying object spotted in the Sault. Seriously

By Carol Martin

SooToday.com received the following note and accompanying picture from a faithful reader who spotted some very strange invaders hovering around her yard.

Readers who can help her with identifying this interesting creature are encouraged to do so using SooToday.com's News Response forum on our Editorials page.

***************************
I spotted these flying around in my lilac tree today, and have never seen them before.

They definitely don't like to co-operate and stay still for a photo either!

I wonder if anyone knows what they are.

They look like a cross between a moth, a bee, and a crayfish!

- Regards, BJ
