On the 5th of February, members of the Sault Ste. Marie street team, joint forces investigation unit and the OPP conducted an investigation of drug trafficking.

As a result, a female was arrested at 12:30 p.m. on Brock Street after she was allegedly found in possession of 152 grams of cocaine.

At approximately 12:50 p.m., two males were allegedly found to be in possession of approximately 89 grams of cocaine during a traffic stop on Great Northern Road and they were both arrested.

An undisclosed amount of cash was also seized as offence-related property.

The following three persons were all charged with one count of one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking in a controlled drug or substance:

- Twenty-year-old Christine Goodchild of 29 Beaver Crescent in Heron Bay.

- Forty-six-year-old Myles Robinson of 22 Hilbert Street in Marathon Ontario.

- Forty-two-year-old Kevin Andrews of #18-5 Mcleod Street in Marathon Ontario.
