Male arrested for drug trafficking

Eighteen-year-old Tyler Caudle of #3-156 Woodward Avenue was arrested on the 30th of January at 6:50 p.m. on Brock Street and charged with one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance and one count of trafficking in a controlled drug or substance.

It is alleged that on the 30th of January, the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service street team was conducting a drug investigation in the downtown area and found the accused to be in possession of approximately 124 grams of cannabis marijuana.

He was subsequently arrested.

The total street value of drugs seized was $2,494.

The accused is to appear in court on the 1st of March.
