The following note from a loyal reader in Fort McMurray, AB is one of many special greetings from expatriate Saultbies that SooToday.com is publishing over the holidays.*************************
Hi SooToday.com:
I would like to wish all my family and friends a Happy New Year from up here in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
I’m up here working as a junior network administrator at the Albion Oil Sands owned by Shell Oil Co.
I’m not really missing the snow, but I am trying to get used to the -50°C temperature!
I really like the people up here and love my job, but I do miss not being "home" for the holidays (maybe next year?).
I have attached a photo of one of the many trucks that I see around the site!
Happy New Year everyone!
- Luke Evans
