SooToday.com has received a note from the FedNor communications folks describing a local presence at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto.Kathie Brosemer, provincial coordinator of Forest Genetics Ontario, is shown discussing the latest research in forestry conservation with a visitor at a forest genetics exhibit.
It's part of the FedNor-supported Northern Ontario Agri-food Pavilion at the Royal, running November 6 to 15.
Based in the Sault, Forest Genetics Ontario is a stakeholder co-operative that promotes research, collaboration and information-sharing across the forestry industry.
The Royal bills itself as "the largest combined indoor agricultural fair and international equestrian competition in the world."
The event started in 1922 and now attracts over 325,000 participants and visitors each year.
