Thirty-three-year-old Ryan McCauley of 50 Nicholas Avenue was arrested at 1:35 a.m. this morning and charged with one count of consuming over the legal limit.

It is alleged that 1:25 a.m. this morning, City Police received a call regarding a possible impaired driver that was in a drive-thru lane on Trunk Road.

Police attended and found the driver to be under the influence of alcohol.

The accused failed a roadside screening device breathalyzer test and was arrested.

He is to appear in court on the 14th of December.
