OPP NEWS RELEASE

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON - On Saturday, October 31, 2009, at 2:40 a.m., and OPP officer was northbound on Highway 17 in Sault Ste. Marie when they observed a 1993 silver Ford Mustang travelling southbound at a high rate of speed.

The vehicle was intercepted on radar to be travelling 135 km/hr in a posted 80 km/hr zone.

The vehicle was pulled over and the driver exhibited signs of alcohol impairment.

Arrested and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and driving with over 80 mgs. of alcohol is 25-year-old Curtis Groskleg of 326 Borden Ave. in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Groskelg was released on a promise to appear for court on December 7, 2009.
