Original advisory - 5:13 p.m.

The Ontario Provincial Police advise the public of the following lane closures on Highway 17 West near Webbwood.

Two lanes are currently closed; one lane is open to alternating traffic.

Motorists can expect traffic delays in this area for several hours.

Location: Highway 17 West near Webbwood.

Detachment area: Sudbury (Espanola) OPP

Time of road closure: 4 p.m.

Reason for the closure: Serious motor vehicle collision currently under investigation. .

Detour: This is a three-lane section of Highway 17 West, two lanes are closed, and one lane is open to alternating traffic. Delays are to be expected.

Estimated duration of closure: Unknown.

Time road reopened: will advise.
