************************* Northern Ontario New Democrats host major rally for CBC

SUDBURY - New Democrat PM Glenn Thibeault (Sudbury), along with fellow New Democrat MPs Claude Gravelle, Charlie Angus and Carol Hughes will stage a central rally in support of the local CBC stations and their listeners across Northern Ontario. The broadcaster’s local operations are rumoured to be cut in half as a result of the government’s decision to deny bridge financing during this economic recession. Musical performers, community leaders and local CBC personalities will be also be present and/or performing at the rally. The rally will start at 2:30 p.m. in Sudbury's Tom Davie Square.
