******************** Theft of skidder parts

WAWA, ON - On April 1, a skidder operator working in the Agawa Bay/ Frater area reported that sometime between January 31 and March 31, person(s) unknown removed gears, bearings and axles from his “Clark” F67 skidder.

The theft occurred on Frater Road at Highway 17.

The value of the stolen parts is estimated at $20,000.

The parts are believed to be compatible with all “Clark”, “Timber Jack” and “Tree Farmer” skidders.

The OPP is requesting the public’s help in solving this crime.
