A loyal SooToday.com reader who helps homeowners deal with snow problems sent us this photo from a rooftop in the Pim hill area. "I thought you might want to see what 28 inches of snow on a roof looks like," he wrote.

"The snow was so thick that it was insulating the roof and the water was backing up in every nook and cranny it could find."

Melting is expected to continue over the next several days. But don't put away your snow blower yet.
