Craig Hartsburg has been dumped as head coach of Ottawa Senators, national media reports indicate this morning. The NHL team will make the offcial announcement at an 11 a.m. news conference today. Hartsburg was advised last night.

Craig Hartsburg has been dumped as head coach of Ottawa Senators, national media reports indicate this morning.

The NHL team will make the offcial announcement at an 11 a.m. news conference today.

Hartsburg was advised last night.

A former coach of Soo Greyhounds, Chicago Blackhawks and Anaheim Mighty Ducks, he lasted just 48 games with the Senators.

Hartsburg coached Canada's junior ice hockey team to world gold medals in 2007 and 2008.

The Ottawa Sun is reporting that Hartsburg will be replaced by Cory Clouston, currently coach of Ottawa's AHL affiliate in Binghamton.
