Michael Moore, the Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker and best-selling author, walked into a federal candidate's debate at Sault College at 2:15 this afternoon. Moore (shown in a SooToday.com file photo taken three years ago at the Shadows of the Mind Film Festival), has a film crew with him.
The debate between incumbent Tony Martin and other local candidates is underway in the college's student life center, popularly known as The Outback.
Moore spent the initial part of the meeting watching silently.
His appearance was not unexpected - student organizers were aware last night that Moore was coming.
SooToday.com is here to cover the event and a full report will appear later today.
