Pharmacy heist in Wikwemikong - cops name suspect

Break, enter and theft of medication from local pharmacy

The Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service is currently investigating a break, enter and theft complaint of an unknown quantity of medication from the Mnis IDA Pharmacy in Wikwemikong.

On the 7th day of October at 4:45 a.m., officers received an alarm complaint from the Mnis IDA Pharmacy in Wikwemikong.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that the suspect had broken the front window of the pharmacy to gain access.

Suspect made off with an unknown quantity and type of medication.

The suspect in this incident has been identified as Travis Wemigwans (DOB 26-November-1983) of Wikwemikong.

Mr. Wemigwans is currently wanted by the Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service on charges related to this incident.

Police are seeking the assistance of the public in the investigation.
