34-year-old Andrew Sutherland of basement apartment, 432 Wellington Street East was arrested just after 8 p.m. last night.
It is alleged that the accused was in an intoxicated condition in the front lobby of an apartment building on Borron Avenue.
When spoken to by the police the accused allegedly provided a false name.
When the accused was taken into custody it is alleged that the male threatened to shoot one of the officers with a shotgun, and allegedly told another officer that he would hunt down that officer when the officer was not working.
When the officers went to place the accused in the cell area, it is alleged that he resisted.
At the time of the offence the accused was on two probation orders with terms to keep the peace and not to consume alcohol.
Mr. Sutherland has been charged with one count of obstruct police, two counts of threatening to cause death or bodily harm, one count of resist arrest and three counts of breach of probation.
