9:22 p.m. update - A SooToday.com reader just called us from the Roberta Bondar Tent Pavilion to tell us that tonight's wet weather hasn't dampened spirits at this event. There's still a good crowd there and they're still rocking and the music continues until 11 p.m. tonight

************************
The gumbo is hotter than the temperatures outside.

So are the musicians.

Sault Orleans, a benefit concert featuring local bands, gumbo and plenty of beads, is underway now down at Roberta's Really Big Tent Thingy and runs until about 11 p.m. tonight.

Admission is just $5 and all proceeds go to victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Featured musicians for tonight's concert include Lindsay Pugh, Jay Scali, Chris Belsito and Big Wheel and the Spokes, among others.

Tickets are available at the door.

There are plenty of vendors and interesting displays inside the pavilion as well.
