Chris Belsito reprimanded by SooToday.com

Chris Belsito, SooToday.com's Arts and Entertainment Editor-Person, has been formally reprimanded, News Director Dave Helwig announced this afternoon.

"In his latest weekend entertainment forecast issued today, Mr. Belsito made fun of the new Stars War film," Helwig said.

"We regularly skewer politicians and other stupid people on SooToday.com, but Chris's PhotoShopped image of an infant Darth Vader tattooed with commercial messages was way, way, way over the top," Helwig said, adding that "some things are just sacred!!!!!!!"

"This is especially objectionable seeing that Mr. Belsito is known to be a closet Jar Jar Binks fan and was actually seen in the Revenge of the Sith lineup at the Galaxy Cinemas just after midnight this morning.

"If Mr. Belsito wishes to PhotoShop, we'll show him that we can digitally manipulate with the best," said Helwig, as he posted this heavily PhotoShopped version of the cover of Belsito's most recent CD, Turbulence.
