Investigators from the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal are on the scene of what is being considered a suspicious house fire that caused extensive damage to a home on Henrietta Avenue on Saturday night.

Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services says the call came in shortly before 10 p.m. and firefighters worked for a couple hours to bring the fire under control.

The building sustained extensive damage, but no injuries were reported.

Representatives from the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal were at the site earlier today.

LOCAL2 cameras were on scene as firefighters battled the blaze Saturday night and caught the scene on video.
