Stephen Harper to visit the Soo? Probably Tuesday

Unconfirmed reports state Prime Minister Stephen Harper will visit Sault Ste. Marie on Tuesday as part of the Conservative federal election campaign. It is believed Harper will attend an event at 5:30 p.m., but the location is still unknown.

It is believed Harper will attend an event at 5:30 p.m., but the location is still unknown.

A Conservative Party staffer would not confirm or deny the Prime Minister's visit.

Incumbent Conservative MP Bryan Hayes was not available for comment.

Ed Fast, international trade minister, visited the Sault last week to stump for Hayes and the Conservatives.

That followed a visit by Liberal leader Justin Trudeau August 18.
