The Arnold Mackinac Island Ferry is asking for help locating the owner of this delightful doll, discovered on Wednesday, July 15 in its Mackinaw City passenger dock parking lot.

Dubbed 'Dolly' by ferry staff, the little orphan has become somewhat of a social media sensation, under the hashtags #dollysMIadventure and #helpdollyhome.

Dolly has been popping up in all kinds of unexpected places around Mackinac Island and Mackinaw City.

"If no one claims her, I will expect her to become your mascot!" demands one Dolly fan, Kimberly Takacs Jarvinen. "Please do not throw her in a drawer or lost-and-found container never to be seen again. I have fallen in love with Dolly and could not think of her tossed aside after the season is over!"

There's no chance of that happening, says the company's Heather Tamlyn. "I promise not to toss her in a box. I've become way too attached for that," Tamlyn says.

Please click on the photo gallery below to see where Dolly's been recently and to read her commentary, obtained by SooToday in an exclusive interview.

If you have information that might help find Dolly's person, please contact the Arnold Mackinac Island Ferry at
