NORTHERN DENTAL CARE

****************************
The smiles are on us!

It’s no secret that Dr. Carlo Biasucci and his staff love their community.

They strive daily to provide the best level of care to their patients, and they actively create and participate in events designed to benefit their friends, families and community members in Sault Ste. Marie.

Having recently put on the wildly successful SmilePalooza! event on June 20, 2015 for thousands of children and families in Sault Ste. Marie, the team wanted to shift their focus to another area where they are confident they can make an impact.

Using their 10 years of experience in oral health, Northern Dental Care is proud to announce that they will be hosting Dentistry From the Heart, a one-day initiative that will see them provide basic dental services to those in need in our community for absolutely no cost at all.

The team understands that due to lack of finances or insurance, it can be difficult for people to see a dentist on a regular basis.

Unfortunately, missing those visits can lead to a variety of undiagnosed problems, or complications from existing issues, such as cavities.

Northern Dental Care will be providing services like fillings and extractions for free to those individuals in our community who need a little help to get them back into a great state of oral health.

Dentistry From the Heart was originally founded by Dr. Vincent J. Monticciolo 14 years ago.

It is a worldwide, non-profit organization that is based in New Port Richey, FL and is dedicated to providing free dental care to those in need.

Each year, dental practices all over the world take part in this event, and donate their time and resources to help make a difference in their respective countries and communities.

More than 50,000 people have received free dental care from this and similar events since its inception.

Dr. Biasucci saw the impact that an event such as this could have for our community and jumped at the chance to bring this opportunity to the citizens of Sault Ste. Marie.

Dr. Biasucci commented on why this event was important by saying: “The community of Sault Ste. Marie has supported Northern Dental Care to such a degree that we are now the largest practice in the area and still the fastest growing. We recently put on a great community event that was very well attended for patients and families, and now we want to do something for those who are unable to afford basic dental services and live every day with dental problems that we could solve, and this is the best way we could find to impact as many people as possible.”

The staff of Northern Dental Care is equally excited to be a part of something that they consider ‘ground-breaking’ for their hometown.

“I think that the need is definitely there, and it’s great that we can help people that don’t necessarily have that financial assistance available to them,” said Ashley Klepatz, assistant. “This can really make a difference in people’s lives. A great smile can change your entire appearance and really boost your confidence!”

Aleigha Mclean, marketing director, advises: “Being out in the community, we’ve been able to see that an event like this one is important for Sault Ste. Marie and the surrounding areas. We hear so many stories each day of families in pain without the resources, so we knew we needed to do something.”

Colleen Johnson, our lead front desk receptionist, adds: “This is something that is so new and exciting to be a part of. We’re really looking forward to being able to help those in need, and to see them smile after!”

Dentistry from the Heart will be taking place on Wednesday, November 18 at the Northern Dental Care office, located at 432 Great Northern Rd. between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The team at Northern Dental Care anticipates that this will be an extremely busy day, so it is advised that those seeking to take advantage of the free services being offered arrive early.

Appointments will be on a first come, first served basis.

Northern Dental Care unfortunately cannot make guarantees that all patients will be seen for this reason, but the team is committed to seeing as many people as possible.

Northern Dental Care will be sharing smiles on November 18, 2015.

Don’t miss out on your opportunity to be a part of this one of a kind experience in Sault Ste. Marie.
