Three charged in double shooting incident

On July 30, 2015, city police charged a 46-year-old man with discharging a firearm with intent to maim.

The charges stem from a double shooting incident that occurred on July 26, 2015.

The man will be appearing in court on September 14, 2015 at 9 a.m. to answer to the charge.

On July 30, 2015, city police charged a 21-year-old female with assault with a weapon.

The charges stem from a double shooting incident that occurred on July 26, 2015.

The incident is domestic related and not subject to identification as per the policies of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service.

She will be appearing in court to answer to the charges on September 14, 2015.

On July 30, 2015, city police charged a 23-year-old male with assault and breach of probation x 2.

The charges stem from a double shooting incident that occurred on July 26, 2015.

The man will be appearing in court on October 21, 2015.

The incident is domestic related and not subject to identification as per the policies of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service.

Police are not releasing further details regarding this incident at this time.
