Elderly man robbed, police seek female suspect

On July 29, 2015 at 3:26 p.m., an elderly man was entering the rear door of his apartment building in the 200 block of Albert Street East when an unknown female attacked him from behind grabbing for his wallet in his pants pocket.

The victim and accused struggled as the male attempted to stop this female.

The accused was able to reached into the victim's pocket remove his wallet and steal his money before fleeing on foot leaving her sandals behind.

As a result of the altercation the victim received minor injuries to his left elbow and arm area.

The investigation is ongoing.

The suspect description is a white female approximately 5'7" to 5'10", in her 20's, slim build wearing dark pants and a dark hat.
