Update: 1:25 p.m. Saturday, July 4 - Darin Layden (age 47) has been located. The City Police would like to thank the public for their assistance.

Original release: 8:19 p.m., Friday, July 3 - The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in locating a missing person, 47-year old Darin Ronald Layden.
Darin was last seen on July 2, 2015 at approximately 11:00 am in the area of the Sault Area Hospital.
Darin is a Caucasian male, approximately 5 foot 7 inches, 160 pounds, with a slender build.
He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt. Darin has a tattoo of a mermaid on his left forearm and a panther on his left upper arm.
The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service has concerns over the health of Mr. Layden.
