Travel advisory - VIA Rail cancels trains between Sudbury and White River on May 30 and 31

MONTREAL - VIA Rail Canada (VIA Rail) wishes to inform its passengers that, due to track flooding near Cartier trains #185 on May 30 and train #186 on May 31, 2015 between Sudbury and White River will not be operating.

The next Northbound train to operate will leave Sudbury station on Tuesday, June 2, and the next Southbound train will leave White River station on Wednesday, June 3 according to the normal schedule.

VIA Rail is communicating with customers who have reservations on the affected trains.

We regret the inconvenience that this situation may cause. Customers wishing to cancel or change their date of travel may do so at no additional charge by calling 1 888 VIA-RAIL (1 888 842-7245) or 1 800 268-9503 (hearing impaired).
