On May 24, 2015. at approximately 12:30 p.m., city police attended in the area of the Hub Trail at Fort Creek in regard to a bear sighting.  
 
The bear had departed prior to police arrival.  
 
The Service would like to remind the public to be aware that bears may be around these areas and to exercise caution.  
 
The bears will typically avoid human contact and will make their way back into the bush if left undisturbed.
