Sault Ste. Marie resident drives away with a brand new car from OLG Casino Sault Ste. Marie

TORONTO - Rhea Whitehead of Sault Ste. Marie is the proud new owner of a brand new 2015 Dodge Challenger.

Rhea drove off the OLG Casino Sault Ste. Marie lot in the vehicle after winning it while playing The Amulet and The Charm slot machine on Wednesday, May 20, 2015.

It is one of 16 slot machines that are part of a prize bank.

The prize bank offers four levels of progressive jackpots with the main prize being a brand new vehicle.

“At first I didn’t realize I had won the car,” recalled Rhea shortly before receiving the keys to her new vehicle. “I thought I won the amount that was displayed on the slot machine. One of the other patrons shouted out, ‘You just won the car!’”  

Rhea typically visits the Casino once a week.

“I won $450 on the same machine before but never anything like this. It was the surprise of a lifetime! It took a while for it to sink in.”

The 16 slot machines which make up the prize bank are all linked.

Any one of them could hit the top prize which is a new vehicle.

The many vehicles in this prize bank are purchased from various dealerships in Sault Ste. Marie.

The next vehicle up for grabs is a 2015 Honda CRV.
