BLIND RIVER – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment in Blind River is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the person(s) responsible for the theft of six Stihl chain saws from a business on Highway 17 west of Blind River. 

The chain saws were taken between April 3 and April 7 2015 from the back of truck located in a fenced compound. 

They have Algoma Forestry engraved on the handle or AAI engraved on the chain guard and have a 12”-18” bar.

The value of the missing chain saws is estimated at $4,500.

 Police are seeking the public’s assistance and asking anyone with information about this crime or any other crime to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122, or if you wish to remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
