On April 18, 2015 Sault Ste Marie Police detectives from Criminal Investigation Services arrested a 14-year-old young person for sexual interference of a person under 16 and invitation to sexual touching of a person under 16.
It is alleged that on several occasions, from January 2013 to March 2015, the young male attempted to have a female, who was 7 years old in 2013, perform sexual acts on him. This continued until the female was 8 years old and the information was disclosed.
The young person will appear in court on May 26.
