NEWS RELEASE

ROTARY CLUB OF SAULT STE MARIE

*************************
We are excited to welcome this year's participating students from the Algoma region to the 28th Annual Algoma Regional Science Fair presented by Tenaris on April 16 – 18 at the Algoma University George Leach Center.

The students will compete for top prizes and an opportunity to represent their school and the Algoma region as a part of Youth Science Ontario, at the Canada Wide Science Fair in Fredericton New Brunswick from May 9 – 16, where they will compete with students from across the Country.

Kara Gruyter and Temeara Barrett from Grand View were the 2014 winners with their project entitled 'Power of Suggestion’.

Who will it be this year?

Please join us by visiting the exhibit area this weekend on Friday, April 17 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Saturday, April 18 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., followed by the awards ceremony.

We wish to thank our sponsors; Tenaris, Algoma University and the George Leach Center, Essar Steel, Youth Science Ontario, University of Ottawa, Professional Engineers Ontario, Algoma District School Board, Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board, Superior Digital Solution, All Star Trophies and Sault Naturalist.

Along with the many volunteers, teachers, judges, committee members and the Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie without whose support this event would not be possible.
