Due to excellent end of season conditions and a favourable weather forecast, Searchmont Resort will extend its operating season and open on Friday April 3 and Saturday April 4.

An Easter egg hunt will take place on Saturday at 9:30 a.m.

Searchmont Resort’s final weekend hours and services are noted below:

• Friday April 3 and Saturday April 4: 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Triple chair: will operate
• Double chair: will operate based on demand
• Rentals: Open
• Bernard’s Bar: open 11 a.m. to close
• The Eatery: open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a limited menu
• PlayCare and Snow School: closed
• Live entertainment at 3 p.m. Friday (Rusty McCarthy) and Saturday (Jason Willet)

Rates for the weekend are as follows:

• Special family fun pricing: 2 lift tickets $39, additional lift tickets $10, rentals (skis, boots, poles, or snowboard) $10
• Single daily lift tickets available at late season rates (visit www.searchmont.com for details)
• Accommodation special: 1 night at $179; 2 nights at $299
• Last chance for big savings on your 2015-16 season pass (Early Bird ends March 31, 2015)

A suggested donation of $10 from season pass holders will go towards an ‘Extended Season Fund’.
