Several local organizations saw their ranks of $100,000 Hotties grow over the last year.

The province released its Public Sector Salary Disclosure (AKA Sunshine List, AKA $100,000 Hotties List) today covering wages earned for 2014.

The Algoma District School Board, which runs from Spanish to Hornepayne, tops the list with 88 employees, including seven secondary teachers and one special assignment teacher.

That’s up five from last year’s total, but still down from 94 reported for 2012.

Sixty-one professors are among 83 who make the list at Sault College.

That’s six more than last year, but a whopping 37 more employees than the 46 who made the 2013 list (for wages earned in 2012).

High-wage-earners at Sault Area Hospital are also on the rise with 20 registered nurses, a handful of nurse practitioners and seven pharmacists helping to boost the total to 68 this year, up from 50 last year, and eclipsing the 59 who made the list the year before.
