The Rogers Hometown Hockey tour celebration in Sault Ste. Marie officially kicked off today at the Bondar Pavilion.

The day included hockey-themed games, prizes and giveaways, food and refreshments, and live entertainment from Pat Maloney, Aukland, Jane’s Party and Poor Young Things.

Soo Greyhounds alumnus Steve Sullivan was on hand for autographs and photos, and each child under the age of 16 received a free Hometown Hockey jersey.

The celebration continues Sunday, March 1 at the Bondar Pavilion starting at noon and includes special visits from Ron MacLean, Darryl Sittler, Marty Turco, and Steve Sullivan.
