On March 1 the OPP attended to a recreation centre on the Rankin Reserve and arrested an individual who was wanted on outstanding warrants from the city police.
33-year-old Alfred Peters of Gladstone Avenue was wanted for possession of stolen property and fraud from an occurrence dating back to May of last year.
It is alleged Peters had a stolen ring and cheque in his possession and also cashed a cheque that did not belong to him.
He was also charged with breaching 3 separate conditions of probation he was on, including failing to report when required.
He will be appearing in Bail Court later this morning.
